Sis Mamie Lue Jackson Brooks, a precious vessel of God, transitioned this life November 24, 2025 in Fort Worth TX.
Services will be held at the Growing Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 1686 Fuller Road Minden LA, Dr. George Rice, Pastor. The service will be Saturday, December 6th 11:00 AM.
Sis Mamie was born to the late Inez and Hilton Jackson on April 14, 1938. She united in holy matrimony to the late Herbert Brooks Sr on November 23, 1957.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved children: Alfred Brooks, Flora Anderson, Herbert Brooks Jr, Linda Bailey(Rodney), Sheila Dillard(Romano)and Michael Brooks(Tara); her siblings: JD Jackson, Tennessee Harps, and Brenda Joyce Willis, an Aunt, Faye Jackson, along with a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Her body is entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Homer, Louisiana.
While our hearts are heavy, her legacy of love and kindness will forever live on to all who knew her.
