The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is a national lineage-based service for women that are directly descended from a person involved in the United States struggle for freedom from England. The society is celebrating their 125th anniversary. The Louisiana Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was established in 1895 and is represented by 46 local chapters.
