The LHSAA announced the pairings for the softball playoffs and three Webster Parish schools will have a chance to make a special run to the title. Here are the matchups.
Minden Lady Tiders
The Minden Lady Tiders wrapped up their regular season with a record of 13-10 (6-3 in District 1-4A).
The Lady Tiders enter the playoffs as Class 4A’s No. 30 seed. Minden will travel to No. 3 seed, Cabrini (23-6, 9-0). Minden and Cabrini will square off Tuesday April 19. A time for first pitch has not been set as of press time.
North Webster Lady Knights
The Lady Knights enter the Class 3A playoffs as the No. 14 seed, where they will take on Albany, the No. 19 seed.
North Webster finished the regular season at 15-12, champions of district 1-3A under first year coach Alyssa Ford.
The Lady Knights take on Albany tonight, in Springhill at 4 p.m.
Doyline
The Lady Panthers enter the Class B playoffs as the No. 21 seed. They will take on Avoyelles Charter, Monday at 4:30 p.m. on the road.
