Courtesy Photos The Sparta Foundation hosted the SPARTA Fest at Caney Lake Thursday and Friday of last week. The event is held for fifth graders in Webster Parish and teaches them about water conservation and where our water comes from. Professors from LSU, Louisiana Tech and other educators conducted short sessions that groups of students cycle through. After the sessions students enjoyed a sack lunch picnic before heading back to school.
