Project Reclaim’s Summer of the Stars program has begun, offering education on computers, fitness, leadership skills, and more.
“Our young leaders at Project Reclaim are having a busy summer! From yoga classes, weekly sessions by Dr. Joe Bolger, Project Reclaim TV and being featured on billboards on the Homer Road and Highway 80 in Dixie Inn, they are doing a great job! So proud of them all!” said Ron Anderson, executive director for Project Reclaim.
Bonvenu Bank (formerly Citizens National Bank) sponsored a Chick-fil-A party for the kids and parents on June 27. The kids had a great time.
Project Reclaim, based in Minden, serves youth throughout the parish. It is a leadership academy targeting elementary, middle, junior, and high school students. The main goal is to help participants become the best leaders by learning about leadership, performing well academically, and respecting relationships with others.
