Sunshine brings Little League action back to Minden Rec.

Coleman Appraisals 5

5-4 Little League 2Jamie Long tripled and singled for Coleman Appraisals, followed by Madison Franklin, Zoie Salsburg and Madison Walker with a pair of singles. Sky Savage and Shelby Glenn added singled.

No hits were recorded for State Farm.

Hunters Girls 15
Bon Temps 1

McKenzie McCoy had a whopping two home runs and a double to lead Hunters Girls, followed by Lindsey Ryan with a home run of her own and two singles. Chloe Gorman doubled and singled, as did Jacoya Lewis. Brooklyn Edwards had three singles and Lucy Giddens and Grace Anderson had two singles. Kyndall Eason and Baylee Stricklin added base hits.

Aaliyah Allen had two base hits to lead Bon Temps, followed by Aynslea Maus, Sunni Franks, Jaydee Tuttle and Jordan Allen with hits.

Gray’s Jewelry 14
Stingrays 5

Lauren Barrett, Hadley Haynes and Izabelle Miller all doubled and singled to lead Gray’s. McKenna Chreene and Madison McGraw added two hits each and Lanie Gates came through with a base hit.

Raleah Harris, Peyton Levesque, Gabbie Brown and Hallie Harmon all singled for the Stingrays.

Dixie Angels

Twisted Sisters 5
Filly Express 3

Kaleigh Foster had two doubles, Dakota Howard had two singles, Elisabeth Cage had a double and Lilliah Jolly and Zaniyah Cooper added singles for Twisted Sisters. Cage also struck out three batters.

Alyssa Streetman tripled, Karrigan Davis doubled and Sara Beth Culpepper added a single for Filly Express. Kylie Ryan struck out seven batters for Filly Express.

Pride 4
Lifesavers 1

Laci Cheatham tripled and doubled for Pride, followed by Abigail Clark, Kalyn Williams, Kambree Frizzell and Breyanna Washington with base hits. Sha’von Whitfield struck out five batters for Pride.

Keily Sumlin had two hits and Kayle Faurot added one base hit for Lifesavers. Asia Blow had two strikeouts in the circle.

Ponytails

Blue Bombers 1

Livi McKenzie tripled to lead Shapell, followed by Gracie Green with a single. McKenzie also struck out eight batters in the circle.

Alee Spigener had the only two hits for the Blue Bombers, a double and single. Spigener also struck out two batters.

Lakeside 3

Hannah Mosley tripled and Coco Stanley and Kara Bryce added singled to lead Glenbrook. Alyssa Martin added seven strikeouts in the circle.

Madison Whitaker had the only hit for Lakeside, a single and Cecily Gurgainers struck out three batters.

Pink Pratique 13
Minden Heat 0

Holly Estes tripled to lead Pink Pratique, followed by Ryleigh Warmack, Quesha Jackson, Reagan Lee and Bethany Jackson with base hits. Estes also struck out four batters.

Erin Lee tripled to lead the Heat, followed by Madison Bumgardner and Emma Mayfield with singles. Audrey Plants struck out four batters.

Wimberly Warriors 2

Michael Sheets and Jude Oglesby had two base hits and Zack Moseley and Noah Garrett added base hits to lead Town & Country.

Dalton Harber, Carson Powell and Bryson Finley had base hits for the Warriors.

MBL Bank 1

Tate Fegley and Davis Powell had two hits each, followed by Barron Bower, Holden Williams and Drake Chreene with base hits.

Darron Hollingsworth, Peyton Caskey, Will Brown and Nolan Waller all singled for MBL.

Outlaws 10
Cubs 5

Gage Williams, Jaxon Smith, Landon Brewer, Gaige Machen and Jaxon Speer all had two singles to help lead the Outlaws. Hudson Brown and Cameryn Davis added base hits for the Outlaws.

Eli Santelices had two singles to lead the Cubs, followed by Gavin Harris, Ethan Turner, Zander Plunkett, Donavon Weston and Kennedy Burns with singles.

AAA

Tigers 11
Crushers 5

Jacob Whitehead tripled and Al Edwards and Hayden Whitehead singled to lead the Tigers.

Jacob Whitehead also struck out five batters and Jase Pate sat down three.

Johnathan Hardiman struck out three batters for the Crushers and Kanon Reeves sat down two.

Patriots 11
Bandits 3

Peyton Gray, Chelby Hinton and Jon Jon Dick all singled to lead the Patriots, while Jordan Isbell struck out five batters.

Jonathan Bryant and Levi Pope each singled for the Bandits. Pope also struck out for batters and Trevor Tharpe struck out two.

Young Guns 4
Wonder Boys 3

D.J. Carter blasted an out-of-the-park home run to lead the Young Guns, followed by Broox Swain with a double and Ethan Vise, Travis Randle and Brayson Cummings with singles. Noah Spears struck out five batters.

Easton Sanders had the only hit for Wonder Boys, a triple, while Zander Rowell struck out four batters.

Apaches 13
Elm St. Dental 1

Cason Clemons homered and doubled, Garrett Brown doubled and Cade Frye, Cade Vining and Brandon Davis singled for Apaches, while Landry Powell and Jakobe Jackson struck out four batters each.

Seth Mangrum doubled for Elm St. Dental and also struck out five batters. Dawson Day struck out one batter.

Dixie Youth

Lions Club 7
Redbirds 9

C.J. Watts homered and singled, Maddox Mandino had two doubles and Dayton Sims had two singles to lead Lions Club. Cooper Chase and Cade Boley had singles. Sims struck out four batters on the mound.

Charles Berry and Wyatt Shepherd doubled and Connor Humphreys singled for the Redbirds.

Humphreys added an impressive 10 strikeouts on the mound.

Minden Athletic 15
Elm St. Tigers 4

A.J. Coleman tripled and Price Miller, Landen Hopkins, Caleb Condit, Cole Osbon and Reggie Reed added singles. Miller struck out four batters as well.

Hudson Dillard, Clayton Boyd and Pearson Desadier singled for the Tigers.

Beau Branch doubled and Cade Clemons and Jackson Powell added singles for Glenbrook.

Clemons struck out five batters whule Jonathan Parkerson struck out four.

Hunter Womack doubled for Lakeside, followed by Landon Rasberry, Trevor Randle and Mason Harper with singles.

Webster 13
Bombers 0

Jakob Walker and Seth Johnson doubled, followed by Carson Parker, Keaton Moore and Trenton McLaughlin with singles for Webster. McLaughlin and Walker also combined for a no-hitter, with McLaughlin striking out six batters.

Cameron Barton pitched for the Bombers and struck out two batters.
