The public participated in an open house Saturday at the Webster Parish Library to bring awareness to breast cancer. Women received free blood pressure checks, information on the avenues they can take to get yearly screenings and steps to take in preventing or catching breast cancer early. The event was sponsored by the Susan G. Komen of North Louisiana.
