An 18-year-old man was arrested Friday after a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Ridgewood Circle in Minden, according to a police report.
John Rolen, 18, was taken into custody January 9 after deputies and city officers responded to a reported verbal altercation between Rolen and his mother. Police said the woman told authorities she wanted to pursue charges.
According to the report, the woman said Rolen had recently arrived at the home and began yelling at her as soon as he entered. She told officers he moved close to her, raised his fist and made her fear he was about to strike her. She also reported that Rolen told her he had placed a bounty on her life.
A family member who was inside the home at the time witnessed the incident, police said.
The woman provided a written statement and signed a complaint affidavit. Rolen was advised of his rights and transported to the Minden Police Department for booking.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
