BATEN, Thomas Orel 10/10/1934-10/25/2019 Tom passed away in Dallas, Texas on Oct 25, 2019 due to complications arising from his Parkinson’s disease. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years Sylvia (McWhorter). Tom and Sylvia moved to Dallas, Texas with their family in 1975. Tom represented numerous companies in the floor covering business for more than forty years. He was an avid golfer. Tom is survived by his three children. Cindi Camp (Mike), Plano, Texas, Doug Baten, Dallas, Texas and Renee Houle (Tom), Atlanta, GA. Tom and Sylvia are also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Antioch Church of Minden 11812 US-80, Minden, LA on February 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
