Free Workshop to Help Landowners Considering Selling Their Timber
A free Timber Market Trends Workshop will be offered on December 12, 2023, at the Bossier Parish Library History Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. Featured topics include current market trends for timber, how to estimate the value of your timber, how to find the best place to sell your timber, how to navigate pitfalls of selling your timber, and how to leave the land healthier after the sale.
The workshop will be presented by Tim Holland. Holland is the owner and lead forester for Mudd & Holland Consulting Foresters. He is a Certified Tree Farm Inspector and has served on the board of directors for both the Louisiana Forestry Association and the Louisiana Society of American Foresters.
The Bossier Parish Libraries History Center is located at 2206 Beckett Street in Bossier City, Louisiana. On December 12, 2023, on-site registration/sign-in will begin at the library at 5:15 p.m. The workshop presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
