Town of Sibley begins construction of new Water Park

by Will Phillips

Submitted by the Town of Sibley to the Minden Press-Herald for publication

The Town of Sibley has had a vision for growth for years. This growth can be measured in many different ways such as population, annexation, infrastructure improvements, and recreation.

We have had the walking track behind town hall for several years with the plan to expand this recreation area. It is because of the dedicated and generous leaders, citizens and businesses in the area that the Sibley Splash Pad Water Park is, currently, under construction. Construction began earlier this year behind Sibley Town Hall on North Main St. This area will, also, have covered picnic tables for parents to supervise their children on the splash pad as well as a surrounding fence for safety.

CW&W Contractors has generously donated to this project in a most generous way. The Town of Sibley is very thankful for leaders, citizens and business owners in our community that are dedicated to future growth and to Sibley.
