Funeral services for Trudy Hataway Smith will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Trudy was born July 18, 1953 in Bossier City and entered into rest Nov. 14, 2015 in Bossier City. Trudy was a funny and kind person who loved music and animals. She was a loving mother, grandparent, sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Melba Hataway.
She is survived by her son Brett Smith and wife Laura Van Outter-Smith of Minden, daughter Tammy Anderson of Minden, brother Harold Lynn Hataway and wife Nelda of Springhill, grandchildren Gaebriele Anderson, Morgan Savell, and Zoe Smith, step-granddaughters Journey and Lilly and great-grandchild Jayden Clark, niece Teresa Hataway, whom she loved like a daughter and great-nephew Jake Hataway.
