Two individuals were taken into custody March 14 after officers responded to a report of suspicious activity near Constable Street and Loop Road, according to a Minden Police Department report.
An officer was dispatched after a caller reported a man and woman appearing to attempt to break into a white structure. The caller described the man as wearing a blue vest and the woman as wearing a gray shirt.
Officers located two individuals matching that description in the area of Constable Street and Crestview Drive. While checking identification, police determined Cedric Adams Jr., 30, of Bossier City, had five active warrants through the Minden Police Department. Adams was taken into custody on those warrants.
The second individual, identified as Shondreka McGlothen, 32, of Minden, was observed acting nervously and reaching toward her shirt, according to the report. When asked, she removed a cigarillo package from her clothing that contained approximately 7 grams of synthetic marijuana..
McGlothen was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana. Adams was arrested on five bench warrants.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
