Verna Morgan, 86, of Minden, passed away on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015. She is survived by her spouse, Walter Morgan Sr., sons Walter Morgan Jr. (Brenda), Ricky Lott of Minden, Junious Morgan (Sarah), Lake Charles, Donald Morgan, Baton Rouge, Larry Lott, Syracuse, New York, one daughter Alma Morgan, Harvest, Alabama, and one sister Beatrice Mozell Johnson, Las Vegas. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at Mt. Calm Baptist Church. Visitation is from 2 until 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fellowship/Home Civic League Cemetery in Dubberly under the direction of Miller-Pioneer Funeral Home.
