Virginia Walker will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Louisiana.
Virginia was born November 17, 1945, in Coushatta, Louisiana and entered into rest February 23, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana. Virginia retired from the Webster Parish School Board where she worked in the cafeteria at Webster Junior High School. She loved cooking, gardening, canning, fishing and especially her I-Pad and telephone. Her greatest joy was her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Fannie Blackwell, husband, Wallace Walker, Sr., son, Benjamin Chaffie King, daughter, Patricia Walker, great-grandson, Michael Gordon, granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Walker, and sister, Lougena Sullivan.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Walker (Bill Bolt) of Haughton, Ron Walker and Angie of Tennessee, Wallace Walker, Jr. and Victor Saldivar of California, Harriet Johnson (Sissy) and Billy of Gibsland, Paulette Walker (James Wilkerson) of Texas, Sherrie Moore and Jimmy of Texas, Mary Walker (Jana) (Mike Dyson) of Converse, and Larry Walker and Alissa of Texas; grandchildren, Jannie Merritt (Darrell), Beth Rivera (Ricky), Beth Walker Jones and Elizabeth, Seth (Madelyn), Sarah Johnson, Julia Smith (Brian) and Samantha Phillips, Gage Cross (Katelyn), Alyssa Puckett (Daniel), MeKayla Lindsey (Dillon), Dylan Shoalmire (Keiano), Robyn Shoalmire (Travis), Randi Mae Shoalmire, Kathleen (Kat) Taylor (Alan), Taylor Driscoll, Justin Driscoll, Ronnie Driscoll, and Landon Ward; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Sullivan (Bubba Vaughn).
