The Walker Holding Group held its 9th Annual Michael & Chequella Walker Fan Drive on June 15. As the sweltering heat of summer descends upon Louisiana, this initiative aims to provide relief to those who cannot afford cooling appliances. The fan drive addresses the urgent need for cooling during the scorching summer, particularly for individuals and families facing financial hardships.
The drive was a big success this year, and fans are still being donated. The Walkers plan to start distributing the fans as soon as possible.
“Chequella and I like to thank everyone who gave and still giving,” said Michael Walker. “The fans do really help people and we don’t stop until we give the last one out. A special thanks goes out to Kyle and Jessica Allums for setting out helping us collect fans when we couldn’t be there. Thanks again to Minden and the surrounding area.”
