Warriors run well at Plain Dealing relays

The Lakeside Warriors travelled to the Plain Dealing Relays with fewer people due to spring break. These few performed at a high level.

Destine Joiner and Alissa Landers led the way for the Lady Warriors. Joiner had a personal best high jump of 4′ 6″ for fourth place. She also long jumped 14′ 3″ for fifth place. On the track Joiner sprinted to a 13.6 for third in the 100 meters. Lander took second in the 800 (2:37) and third in the 16000 (5:37) and the 400 (1:10). Heather Schenck was second in the javelin (42′ 5″).

Zach Zaldivar led the Warriors in the field.

Zaldivar threw a personal best of 135′ 6″ to win the javelin and threw 33′ 2″ for fifth in the shot put.

Eric Greene won the 3200, running a time of 10:30. Cody Robinson took second in the 1600 (4:57) and sixth in the 800 (2:19). Eighth grader Tyler Davis placed fourth in the 3200 at 11:37.

Next action for the Lakeside Warriors and the Minden Crimson Tide will be at Haughton, Thursday, April 16.
