SIBLEY – The Lakeside Warriors knew what they were up against Friday night, but sometimes there’s nothing you can do, as 2A powerhouse Ouachita Christian School defeated Lakeside 44-0.
Ouachita Christian entered this week’s contest as the No. 3 ranked team in Class 2A, according to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
They sure looked like a team worthy of a No. 1 ranking, as the Eagles had size and speed all over the field.
Lakeside is now 0-4 on the season as we approach the midway point. The Warriors will try to get their first win next week against another powerhouse, St. Mary’s.
