Newly-elected members of the Webster Parish Democratic Executive Committee were sworn in Wednesday by Webster Parish Clerk of Court Holli Vining on the front steps of the Webster Parish Courthouse.

The purpose of the DPEC is to assist in the election of local and statewide Democratic candidates as well as promote voter registration, educate local voters on Democratic Party issues and maintain a strong, viable Democratic organization on the parish level.
