It is with sadness that we announce the decision to POSTPONE the Bayou Dorcheat Fall Paddle to a later date. Due to the extreme temperatures of the summer months and the lack of rain, we are aware that there is not enough water on the Bayou Dorcheat to accommodate our event. We had hoped for some rain north of Minden, however, what was received hasn’t been near enough. Please stay turned for the next announcement regarding this event as we keep our eyes on the water gage!
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and encourage everyone to still come out for the Minden Makers Fair at the Farm, the SHARKS 2023 Louisiana R/C Jet Rally at the Minden Airport, and the Springhill Lumberjack Festival at Frank Anthony RV Park! There is still plenty to discover this weekend!
