Western Auto / AJ Price, Inc. Tires & Service will celebrate 90 years of serving Minden with an anniversary event from 5-8 PM March 6 at its main store, 724 Main Street.
The celebration will feature live music, cocktails, and giveaways, including a tire drawing, as the Collins family marks nine decades of continuous operation in the community. The business is among the oldest continuously operating establishments in Minden.
Owned by the Collins family, Western Auto / AJ Price, Inc. Tires & Service has provided automotive tires and service to generations of local residents. Over the years, the business has remained a fixture on Main Street, serving customers through changing times while maintaining family ownership.
City officials will recognize the milestone throughout the week by sharing highlights about the Collins family, the business, and its legacy on the City of Minden’s Facebook page.
The March 6 event is open to the public and will offer community members an opportunity to celebrate the company’s history and continued presence in downtown Minden.
