Wildlife and Fisheries hosting Lagniappe Day April 27

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is holding its ninth annual Lagniappe Day at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Office located at 9961 Highway 80, Minden, Louisiana, on April 27, 2019. This is a free event to the public where Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Agents will teach a NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) certified boating education course. Lunch will be provided and door prizes will be handed out to the participants.

Louisiana boater education law states all persons born after January 1, 1984 are required to complete a NASBLA approved boating education course to operate a motorboat over 10 horsepower and must carry proof of such when operating the motorboat.
