Funeral services for William A. “Bill” Striplin will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Richard Methvin officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Bill was born Oct. 19, 1933 in Cotton Valley and entered into rest Oct. 7, 2015 in Arcadia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtis Joyce Striplin and daughter Sharon Morehead.
He is survived by his daughters Kathy Renee Edwards and husband Ryan of Dubberly, Lisa Gail Chipmon and husband Daniel of Ruston, Jerrie Kelley and husband Kenny of Minden, son-in-law Ronald Morehead of Minden, sister Connie Domangue of Morgan City, grandchildren Jennifer Shidiskis, Phillip Edwards, Rhonda Addison, Rachel Martinez, Tabetha Chipmon, Derek Chipmon, Marsha Watkins, and Zoe Kelley and a number of great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Striplin, Jessie Striplin, Paul Striplin Jr., Casey Callender, and Daniel Shidiskis.
