EPSON MFP imageWillie Pierce Allums Jr. was born April 1, 1935, to the late Eddie B. Howard and Willie P. Allums.

He joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church at an early age, where he remained a member until death.
On Oct. 10, 2014, Willie P. was called home from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Laverne Stevenson; a brother, Eddie James Allums; and one grandchild.

Willie Pierce Allums Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memories two daughters, Earline Smith (Dock) and Bobbie Hardy (Billy); brother, Westly D. Allums (Mae Ollie); two sisters, Drucilla Kirksey and Eva Mae Henderson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family who loved him dearly.

Funeral services for Willie Pierce Allums Jr. will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with the Rev. Reggie Lofton officiating. Interment will follow at Blount Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Kennon’s Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, October 17 in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary. Email condolences may be sent to kennonsmortuary@suddenlink.net.
