Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who reportedly shot a woman on Allen Drive around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Chief Deputy Bobby Igo said the woman was shot in the chest area and her mother drove her to Minden Medical Center. She was later transferred to University Health in Shreveport with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Deputies believe 36-year-old Kendrick Taylor of Minden is responsible for the shooting and is wanted on second-degree battery and aggravated assault with a firearm charges. Deputies also said Taylor is a registered sex offender and has a lengthy criminal history.
Igo said Taylor could possibly be headed to Texas driving a 1997 blue Chevy Suburban with Louisiana tags ZLZ-963.
