Funeral services for Yvonne Botzong Copeland will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor Baptist Church in Taylor, Louisiana with Rev. Kenny Rowe and Rev. Jimmy Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow at Woodard Cemetery in Taylor, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Yvonne was born July 16, 1936 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest March 1, 2021 in Taylor, Louisiana. She was a member of Taylor Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Mullins, Mattie Kennedy, and Lillie Fletcher and two brothers, Ralph Botzong and Frank Botzong.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jimmy Copeland of Taylor; sons, Tony Copeland and wife Pam of Taylor, Neal Copeland and wife Faye of Taylor, and Jamie Copeland and wife Denise of Shreveport; daughter, Donna Copeland of Shreveport; sister, Gladys Turner of Boerne, Texas; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jarred Copeland, Richard Jowers, Pearce Copeland, Chris Williams, Tommie Boddie, Lyle McCoy, and Justin “JD” Copeland.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Boddie, Johnny Williams, Paul Lawler, and Ronald Jones.
