In 1983, Ron and Alana were appointed as Southern Baptist missionaries to Brazil by the SBC International Mission Board, where they served for 32 years before retiring in October, 2015.

For the past two years Ron has served as Missions Mobilizer and Projects Coordinator for the Louisiana Reach Haiti partnership and now serves on the LRH Board. They will be building a children’s village, school, medical clinic and training center as well as planting churches in Haiti.
