J. A. Phillips Middle School had a Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to honor local veterans.

All veterans were presented a Service Excellence Medal by the Phillips Student Council members. Taps was played by Army Veteran Charles Minifield. The program ended with refreshments and fellowship between the students and those in attendance.
