All Webster Parish public school students will receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2025-2026 school year, the Webster Parish School Board has announced.
The district said the change comes under the Community Eligibility Provision, an amendment to its policy for serving meals through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
Meals will be provided at no cost at every school in the parish, including Brown Upper Elementary, Browning Elementary, Central Elementary, Doyline High, Jones Elementary, Lakeside Jr./Sr. High, Minden High, North Webster High, North Webster Jr. High, North Webster Lower Elementary, North Webster Upper Elementary, Phillips Elementary, E.S. Richardson Elementary and Webster Jr. High.
