The Webster Parish Fair opened Tuesday night, September 30, with the annual parade through downtown Minden, followed by the start of the 4-H Livestock Show featuring poultry and rabbits.
Organizers noted that this year’s poultry and rabbit division drew about 20 rabbit entries, a number credited in part to 4-H’s push to encourage more youth participation. Winners from the livestock shows will be announced after the events conclude later in the week.
