Nominations are now open for Minden’s Woman of the Year award, sponsored by the Young Women’s Service Club.
The annual honor recognizes a woman who has demonstrated leadership, service and a strong commitment to the Minden community. Community members are encouraged to submit nominations detailing why their candidate is deserving of the award.
Nominations should include as much information as possible, including biographical details such as family and work background, civic and professional involvement, community contributions and leadership qualities.
The deadline to submit nominations is 11:59 PM on February 18, 2026.
The Woman of the Year recipient will be announced during the Greater Minden Chamber’s 84th Annual Membership Awards Gala, scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Minden Civic Center.
