The Minden Crimson Tide completed a three-game sweep of the Lakeside Warriors with a 13-3 victory Saturday at Griffith Stadium.
Elsewhere, North Webster split games in the Logansport tournament, defeating Waskom, Texas, 6-3 and falling to Carlisle, Texas, 11-10 in eight innings.
Doyline lost to Converse 10-0 in the Zwolle tournament.
At Minden, the Tide (7-1) led 5-3 after five then ended the game with eight in the sixth.
Minden’s Hudson Brown went 4-for-4 with a double. Landon Brewer went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Bray Winston went 3-for-4 with two doubles. Jaxon Smith went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
Kyler Ray, Barron Bower and Jacob Jefferson had two RBI apiece.
Winston went the distance. He allowed six hits and one earned run.
Lakeside’s Gage Williams went 2-for-3 with a double. Jake Glass went 2-for-3. The Warriors dropped to 2-7.
At the Logansport tournament, North Webster starter Gerrit Gillentine allowed two hits, struck out eight and walked two in five innings against Waskom. Justin Stewart struck out two in two innings of relief.
Tyler Brown went 2-for-4.
The game against Carlisle went into extra innings tied at 8 after North Webster scored one in the top of the seventh. The Knights (2-2) tallied one in the top of the eighth but Carlisle scored two to win it.
Gillentine went 3-for-5 with a double. Stewart and Brown had two hits each. Brown had a double. Landon Lewis had two RBI.
Doyline fell to 1-3 with the loss to Converse. Zack Moseley had the Panthers’ lone hit.
