A weekend focused on men’s health, personal growth, and community connection is scheduled for Fathers Day weekend, June 20–21, featuring a wellness fair, workshops, and a church service.
The Men’s Wellness Fair will be held Saturday, June 20, from 8 AM to 3 PM at the Minden Recreational Center. Admission is $10, with tickets available through Eventbrite or at the door. The cost includes breakfast, lunch, and access to workshops and speakers. Male youth are also welcome to attend.
Organizers said the event will include breakout sessions, group discussions, and presentations centered on mental health, physical wellness, emotional healing, and purpose-driven manhood.
Special guests are scheduled to include Dr. Antwan Butler and Pastor Craig W. Williams.
Vendors are being sought for the event, with a $40 vendor fee. Resource tables will be available at no cost.
Activities will continue Sunday, June 21, with breakfast at 8 AM followed by a service at 10:45 AM at New Light Baptist Church, 413 Reeder Street in Minden.
According to event organizers, the weekend is designed to “create a safe, empowering space for men to grow, heal, and connect,” and is open to all men.
