The Sneed Reach 1 Foundation will host “The IRL Experience” on Monday, July 13, at the Minden Civic Center, bringing youth and families together for an evening focused on mental health, peer pressure, decision-making, and building real-life connections.
The event, presented in partnership with 22 Hands Up and Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, will take place from 5:30 to 8 PM and is geared toward children ages 8-15, with parents encouraged to participate.
Hosted by hometown NFL player L’Jarius Sneed and the Reach 1 family, the program will feature interactive discussions covering topics including mental health, social media pressure, peer influence, and protecting one’s future through positive choices.
Organizers said the event is designed to encourage “real conversations” and “real connection” among youth and families.
In addition to discussions and activities, attendees will have access to food, music, giveaways, community resources, and other interactive opportunities.
Registration is open for participants, vendors, and volunteers through online forms shared by the Sneed Reach 1 Foundation on their Instagram page, SneedReach1
Sneed is a graduate of Minden High School and two-time Super Bowl champion. Through the Sneed Reach 1 Foundation, he continues to host youth-focused outreach events in his hometown.
