* UPDATE* LANE CLOSURES: I-20 at LA 544 (Tech Dr/Cooktown Rd) Interchange – Lincoln Parish

*UPDATE*

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of upcoming lane closures associated with the LA 544 (Tech Drive) Overpass Replacement project in Ruston, LA. Beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 and continuing thru Friday, July 10, 2026 there will be nighttime lane closures along westbound I-20. These lane closures will be between the Tarbutton Interchange and the US 167 Interchange and are required to move construction equipment into the median of I-20. The lane closures will begin at 8pm and continue until 7am the following morning.

Beginning Wednesday, July 8, 2026 and continuing thru Friday, July 10, 2026 there will be a daytime lane closure of northbound LA 544/Tech Dr./Cooktown Rd. This lane closure will be between the Tech Drive overpass and Trinity Way and is required to allow for asphalt paving work in that area. Thru traffic will be maintained.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Detour/Alternate Route: NA

Restrictions/Permits: 12′ wide for I-20 WB closure, no restrictions for LA 544 closure
