The Minden Lions Club’s Cub Club will host a Summer Splash Bash on Saturday, July 25, to recognize and thank the Minden Fire Department for its service to the community.
The event will begin at 3 PM at the Minden Fairgrounds and will feature water activities, games, hot dogs, and fellowship for families.
As part of the event, Cub Club members will present firefighters with “Power Protein Snack Packs” filled with items such as nuts, beef jerky, and other high-protein snacks as a token of appreciation for their dedication.
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity to celebrate local first responders while bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun and gratitude.
The event is open to the community.
