The Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly Lunch Mob Friday, August 21, at Ol’ West BBQ, located at 206 State Route 531, drawing a large turnout of Chamber members and local community members.
Attendees gathered over lunch to enjoy food, visit with one another, and make connections in a relaxed setting.
The Lunch Mob is part of the Chamber’s efforts to support local businesses while providing opportunities for members to network and socialize. The come-and-go events have featured restaurants throughout the area and encourage participants to patronize Chamber member businesses.
The Chamber’s mission, as stated in its by-laws, is to “create the best business climate in Louisiana for our members.” In addition to Lunch Mobs, the Chamber offers networking opportunities, seminars and workshops, advertising opportunities, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and other events throughout the year.
