For over fifty years as September rolls around, the Fall has marked the beginning of a Bible study taught by Roberta Kitchens. Roberta was a protégé and student of her mother, Grace Carroll, a well-known Bible teacher and author in Baton Rouge. Roberta herself has taught the Bible since she was nineteen.
“The Dragon and the Lamb” is the title of the new study beginning the first week of September. Mrs. Kitchens has taught the mysterious book of Revelation twelve times, helping interpret the times in which we live. This verse-by-verse study of the New Testament book of Revelation
open to all people and is nondenominational, everyone is welcome.
The study will meet twice each week: a Coed class on Monday evenings at 6:30 beginning September 14th and a Ladies class, beginning Friday morning, September 11th, at 9:30. There is no charge for the class. There is a workbook available for $10. Both classes will take place in the reception room of First Baptist church.
