Families turned out Saturday for Fun in the Park, a day of activities benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The September 12 event was held in Victory Park and appeared well attended as families took advantage of warm weather to spend the day outdoors while supporting a cause focused on children’s health.
Activities included kickball, bounce houses, music, and a fire truck tour. Food vendors were also on hand during the event.
Admission was $5 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The organization raises funds to support children’s hospitals and pediatric health care.
Organizers promoted Fun in the Park under the theme “A day of fun. A lifetime of impact,” encouraging the community to enjoy family-friendly activities while helping children in need.
