Krewe des Ambassadeurs hosts Chamber Connect, celebrates 25th anniversary

The Krewe des Ambassadeurs welcomed members of the local business community to its den on Thursday, October 1, for the latest Chamber Connect After Hours event, providing an opportunity for networking while highlighting the Krewe’s involvement in promoting Minden.

Held at the Krewe des Ambassadeurs Den, located on Ryan’s Way, the event invited business owners, professionals, and community members to make new connections, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy food and fellowship in a relaxed setting.

The gathering also provided an opportunity to highlight the Krewe des Ambassadeurs as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. This year’s Mardi Gras theme, “Silver Screen Edition,” marks a quarter-century of participation in the region’s Mardi Gras traditions.

The Krewe, which typically has between 75 and 100 members, is one of 14 krewes in the Ark-La-Tex area and participates in multiple parades throughout the year. Beyond Mardi Gras festivities, members seek opportunities to support and promote Minden and its business community.

“We want to promote the City of Minden. We want to promote your business that supports the City of Minden, so reach out to our Krewe members to see how we can help you or you can help us,” said Krewe member Paul Lopez.

Chamber Connect After Hours events bring members of the business community together outside regular working hours, encouraging professional relationships, collaboration, and greater involvement in local organizations.
