Bargain hunters and treasure seekers took advantage of beautiful fall weather this weekend as the annual Historic Highway 80 Sale returned to Minden and surrounding communities October 16-18.
Shoppers browsed a wide variety of merchandise, from antiques and collectibles to household goods, clothing, tools, and unusual items not easily found in traditional stores.
The weather provided an ideal backdrop for the outdoor shopping event, with bright blue skies, temperatures in the low 70s, and occasional gusty winds adding to the autumn atmosphere.
A steady stream of shoppers could be seen exploring the various sales along the route, searching for bargains and one-of-a-kind finds.
Often referred to as America’s longest yard sale, the Highway 80 Sale stretches through multiple states, bringing together vendors, residents, and visitors for three days of shopping.
The annual event also provides an opportunity for visitors to explore local businesses and communities along the historic highway.
