Funeral services for Lois Stevenson Galloway were at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with Pastor Matthew Moreno officiating. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath in Minden.
Lois was born Sept. 3, 1933 in Van Buren, Arkansas and entered into rest Oct. 27, 2015 in Arcadia.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Troy Oliver Stevenson and Jerry W. Galloway.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth R. Stevenson and wife Elvira of Pinellas Park, Florida, Joe Stevenson and wife Sherri of Arcadia, Gary Stevenson and wife Julie of Paris, Texas, daughters Clara Brockworth of Florida, Patti Koch of Colorado, Emily Milbern of Dallas, Texas, Christie Evans of Greenville, sisters Esther Venable of Bakersfield, California, Naomi Eckels of Shafter, California, brothers Johnny Weese of Fort Worth, Texas, David Tipton of Bakersfield, California, 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
