A Shreveport woman has returned to the healthcare industry as a membership sales manager for Life Air Rescue.
Terri Byrd, of Shreveport, will be the guest speaker for the Minden Lions Club, which meets at noon on Thursdays.
Byrd is a lifelong resident of Shreveport and spent 10 years in the medical industry working as a community liaison for Milestone Health Care. She dealt with physicians, discharge planners and social workers to help patients receive home health benefits, skilled nursing placement or long-term care placement.
She has worked with several different agencies under the Milestone Health Care umbrella. With a master’s degree in hospital administration, Byrd left the medical industry, going into the banking industry as a credit card processor.
In 2016, she returned the medical industry as the membership sales manager with the Air Med Care Network for Life Air Rescue.
The Lions Club meets at the American Legion Hall, located at 119 Pine Street.
