Democrat Foster Campbell, former Louisiana Senator from 1976-2002 and current member of the Louisiana 5th District Public Service Commission, spoke to the Lions Club at their weekly luncheon Thursday. Campbell, who is running for U.S. Senate, gave details on his platform to the Lions in attendance. Next week’s tentative guest speaker is Morris Guin, Webster Tax Assessor. The Lions Club meets every Thursday at noon at the American Legion Hall, located at 119 Pine St.
