Billy “Speedy” Reeves celebrated his 94th birthday last week. The Minden Lions Club sang happy birthday and presented Reeves with a cake during their Thursday luncheon. Reeves is a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Army, having served in both World War II and the Korean War. He has been an active member of the Lions Club for more than 20 years.
