Lauren Amanda Hearn of Ruston and Joshua Matthew Fish of Minden were united in marriage at five o’clock in the evening on July 30 at Temple Baptist Church. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Reggie Bridges. Music was provided by Lisa Bradley and Margie Hearn on piano, J.U. Jones on Organ and soloists Michele Robinson and Kaitlin Robinson. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hearn Jr. of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hearn of Ruston as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stewart. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Fish. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Smart, all of Sibley, as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fish.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a custom Casablanca a-line gown of Champagne Satin. The gown featured ivory beaded lace on Point d’Esprit with a scalloped chapel-length train and was complemented by a finger-tip veil trimmed with beaded crystals. White hydrangeas, vendela roses and white gerbera daisies made up the bride’s bouquet. The stems were wrapped in navy satin ribbon and accented with ivory lace.
The bride was attended by her matron of honor, Kelly Hodge, and bridesmaids Jessica Walters, Sarah Jones, Jordan Hearn and Taylor Davis. The bridesmaids wore chiffon sweetheart gowns with attached wide lace straps and keyhole back with a criss cross pleated bodice with soft front and back gathers accenting the skirt. They carried coral gerbera daisies, coral roses, peach stock and white hydrangeas. Coral hypericum berries and variegated pittosporum accented in each bouquet.
Acting as best man to the groom was Owen Stell. Groomsmen were Jordy Fish, Justin Smart, Brandon Hearn and Clayton Hearn.
Billy Fish, Sam Hodge and Peyton Page served as ushers. Catherine Davison acted as flower girl and Joseph Davison was the ring bearer. Book attendants were Carley Cavalier and Leslie Brister.
A reception followed the ceremony at Lincoln Parish Library Events Center.
After a honeymoon in Savannah, Georgia, the couple will reside in Minden.
