Lakeside students do well at competition

Members of the Lakeside Jr/Sr High School’s FBLA club competed in the District FBLA competition in Homer earlier this month.  Members did well in all categories with some qualifying for state competition in March.  Those receiving first place and superior ratings and qualifying for state are: Alayna Robles, Caitlin McFarland, Angelina Futch, Karlie Gotshall, Gracyn Brewster, Jessica Osborn, Lindsey Allen, Raelie Prince and Emily Comeaux.  Members receiving an “excellent” rating were Julie Ortega, Amanda Long, Markayla Jones, JaCorla Curry, Jayde Burks, Lindsey Allen, Gracyn Brewster and Ariel Stanaland.  The club is under the direction of Mrs. Lesa Ward.
