The two Minden Lions Clubs had a busy month of April conducting children’s eye screenings in our community! 129 children were screened for the most prevalent vision disorders; of those screened, 16 were recommended for optometrist referral. Lions utilized the new Plusoptix vision screening device that was jointly purchased by the two Minden clubs. If any local preschool programs, daycare centers or private schools would like the Minden Lions to provide no-cost children’s eye screenings, please call either Lion Jerry Madden (318-401-5421) or Lion Mike Trainor (318-268-6772).
