Funeral services for Russell Dale Godwin were held at Rose Neath Chapel in Minden, Louisiana on July 22, 2021 11:00 a.m.; and laid to rest at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Russell was born on January 23, 1975 to parents Joan and Oliver Godwin; and entered to rest on July 19, 2021.
He is proceeded in death by his Mother Joan Godwin, Sister Marilyn Ried and Nephew DueceRied. He is survived by his Father Oliver Godwin, Sister Theresa Godwin and Son Kory Gills with fiance’ Jennifer Hill.
Russell was a successful entrepreneur who enjoyed gathering with friends, playing pool, cooking outdoors and attending live music and sporting events. One of his many passions was giving back to the families within the community.
