Kevin Maurice Adkins was born on November 21, 1971, to Linda and Bennie Adkins. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Light Baptist Church. His hobbies included spending time with family and friends. Kevin graduated from Minden High School. He later began to work as a metal fitter at FMC with his father. Kevin departed this earthly life on August 12, 2022, at the University Medical Center of New Orleans.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mary Lee Adkins, John W. Thornton and Arliss Thornton. Kevin leaves to cherish his memories, Mother, Ms. Linda Adkins, Father, Bennie Adkins (Rebecca), three brothers, Tauras Adkins, Russell and Clyde Jones. Three sisters, Cindy Jones, Regina Furguson and Nicole Richardson. One uncle, Robert (Bonita) Adkins, one aunt, Bobbie (Nan) Thornton and an host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at New Light Baptist Church, Minden, Louisiana on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
